Cramming

We are furiously packing, organizing, tying up loose ends. The days are getting very short before our departure. There are several blog topics I wanted to explore regarding life in the States, so I'm going to have to cram. I know that when we leave for Peru, any time for blogging will be about our new experiences.

More visitors! This past weekend was spent in a series of fun reunions and difficult goodbyes. Each dear friend we see makes it that much harder, and that much more real that we are truly moving. Here's an assortment of blessed visits....

Laura's old roommate, Rachel, came to visit with her husband Mark and two kids, Isaac - 2 years (below) and Samuel - 2 months (above). We hadn't seen them in years, and it was a beautiful reunion.

Last week our dear friends Scott and Tori visited, bringing pizza and good times. They are expecting in August! Hooray!

Lastly, on Saturday we got to meet Darcie, Jess, and Jess's boyfriend Seth for lunch. More great friends from JMU who we will miss greatly. Seth is raising support to go to Peru with Pioneers, so we might see him there!

And then we had this weekend...
