A couple weeks ago, we took the 8:30 BoltBus from D.C. after leaving Ethan with Grandma and Grandpa. We arrived in Midtown at about 1:15 am! Noah was a champion traveler, as usual, even though he was fighting a head cold. We had the privilege of staying with some new friends just a block away from Matthew and Kerry's apartment. So, Saturday morning, after sleeping in, we all got together for lunch before heading to Times Square to catch "Newsies!" This was a combined Christmas present to Noah, Michael and I from Matthew and Kerry, Mom and Dad. As you may already know, "Newsies" is one of Noah's favorite musicals and it is on Broadway for a limited engagement. He choreographed "Seize the Day" at age two.
Siobhan, Erin (Kerry's sisters) and Tom joined us for all the fun too!
Then it was Mother's Day! M & K decided, since a lot of family would already be in town, to baptize Kieran that day. What a sweet way to celebrate being a Mother. Ethan was also baptized on Mother's Day in Peru! We had a big picnic at a nearby park for family and friends afterward. You can see Michael quieting Kieran using the magical "Horsey Song" that always soothed his cousin Noah. (c:
Kieran was a perfect angel for the baptism! Way to go little man!
